About us
LOWKEY is a trading name of Joseph Brown, a sole trader based in England. Our address for correspondence is 12 Glebe Road, RG2 7AG. You can reach us at lowkey.sauces@gmail.com.
The contract between us
Placing an order is an offer to buy. The contract is formed when we send you an email confirming the order has been dispatched, not when you pay.
If we cannot fulfil an order — because something has sold out, because a price was listed incorrectly, or because we cannot deliver to your address — we will tell you and refund you in full.
Prices and payment
- Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where it applies.
- Delivery is charged separately and shown before you pay.
- Payment is taken by Shopify. We do not store card details.
- We may change prices, but never for an order already placed.
Delivery
- We deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom.
- Standard delivery is [£3.95] and normally arrives in two to three working days.
- Express delivery is [£6.50] and normally arrives the next working day if ordered before 1pm.
- Delivery is free on orders over [£20].
- Orders are dispatched the next working day. Timings are estimates, not guarantees.
- Risk passes to you when the order is delivered.
If an order has not arrived within [10] working days, email us and we will either resend it or refund you.
Cancelling and returning
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you may cancel within 14 days of receiving your order and return it for a refund. Tell us by email, then send the items back within 14 days of telling us. You pay the return postage unless the goods were faulty or wrong.
On top of that, we offer a 30-day promise: if you do not like the sauce, tell us within 30 days and we will refund it, even if the bottle is open. You do not need to send it back.
Refunds are made to the original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the goods, or of you telling us you are returning them.
For hygiene reasons we cannot resell opened food, so please do not send opened bottles back unless we have asked you to.
Model cancellation form
You do not have to use this wording — an email saying you want to cancel is enough — but the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 require us to make it available, so here it is. Copy it, fill it in and send it to lowkey.sauces@gmail.com.

If something is wrong
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If something arrives damaged, leaking or past its date, send us a photo and we will replace or refund it. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights.
Allergens and labelling
Full ingredient and allergen information is printed on every bottle and listed on the product pages. Always read the label on the bottle you have, because recipes and batches can change.
Our products are made in a facility that also handles [list allergens present in the facility]. If you have a serious allergy, contact us before ordering.
Our liability
We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking this contract or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for loss arising from your failure to follow the storage instructions on the bottle.
We do not limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.
Using this site
The words, photographs, packaging design and code on this site belong to us or our licensors. You are welcome to share links. Please do not copy the content for commercial use without asking.
We try to keep the site available and accurate, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error free.
Complaints, and the law that applies
Email lowkey.sauces@gmail.com and we will acknowledge within [2] working days. Most things are fixable.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes may be brought in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may bring proceedings in your own country.
